Dr. Phillip Owens
Dr. Phillip Owens, LPC-MHSP-S is a licensed professional counselor with 21+years of clinical experience and is an approved supervisor for trainees. Dr. Owens collaborates as a clinician with multiple practices, such as Exodus Counseling as an expert in men’s mental health.
He has taught adults for over 16 years at a variety of colleges and universities, and is regularly sought as an expert counselor for C‑Suite leaders. Dr. Owens is a regular contributor to Nashville Fit Magazine and has appeared on various radio broadcasts and podcasts, including the Ground Up podcast.
Dr Owens’ teaching is personal and direct, using humor and memorable case studies to make clinical applications understandable. In his seminars, participants are invited to engage, practice, and design their own interventions from what they learn. Attendees leave with clear, practical tools that will strengthen their clinical confidence, and they can use right away to improve client outcomes.
Dr. Stacy Jagger, LMFT, RPT-S, DMin, is a licensed marriage and family therapist, registered play therapist–supervisor, speaker, and founder of Music City Family Therapy in Nashville, Tennessee. She is the creator of the Mountain Method, a five-phase approach that helps families regulate, resolve conflict, and reconnect through creativity, play, and digital detox.
With a background in expressive arts and play therapy, Dr. Jagger integrates music, movement, and creativity to support resilience and healing. She works with families navigating trauma, divorce, and relational challenges, and also supports high-performing families experiencing stress and disconnection. In addition to her clinical work, she supervises therapists, leads parent intensives, and facilitates marriage enrichment programs.
Through speaking, writing, and her nonprofit, Advocate for the Creative Child, she extends her mission of fostering healing, connection, and growth in both therapeutic and community settings.

Alice Bernet, PhD, PMHNP-BC, NBC-HWC is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner and educator with over 20 years of clinical experience. At her solo private practice, Prospect Wellness, she provides patient-driven, individualized medication management for adults navigating ADHD, anxiety, mood disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Her health coaching background lends support for behavior and lifestyle changes to complement her medication management approach. Alice applies a methodical evaluation of patient-centered outcomes while proactively collaborating with therapist networks to ensure seamless, whole-person care.
Beyond the clinic, Alice is a published researcher specialized in behavioral health systems and suicide prevention. She is passionate about equipping fellow professionals with practical tools to increase clinical confidence. Known for her ability to break down complex psychiatric ideas into relatable concepts, she brings a collaborative and engaging style to her workshops.
Alice’s favorite aspect of teaching is when a patient or student makes a connection they hadn't realized before. Outside of her professional roles, she enjoys indoor rowing and spending quality time scouting with her daughter.
