Meet Stacy & Kristin
Stacy Phillips, LPC-MHSP, S, C-DBT, CIMHP
Stacy Phillips, LPC-MHSP, S, is a licensed mental health counselor, approved clinical supervisor, and consultant with nearly 15 years of experience in clinical practice and leadership. Certified in DBT and in Integrative Mental Health, she has held progressive leadership roles including Clinical Team Lead, Clinical Director, and Site Director, where she oversaw program development, clinical training, compliance, and organizational growth.
The Clinician’s Compass was Stacy’s vision from the start, created to give mental health professionals education, supervision, and tools to build sustainable, values-driven careers. She also owns and operates a private practice in Franklin, Tennessee, specializing in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of women navigating complex trauma, mood disorders, and relational challenges.
Stacy is committed to advancing the field through clinician education, strategic consultation, and the promotion of ethical, effective, and innovative clinical practices. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys producing music in her home studio and creating short comedy sketches with friends—creative outlets that fuel her passion for connection and authenticity.
Kristin Trudeau, LPC-MHSP, LADAC II, CST, CFRC
Kristin Trudeau, M.A., LPC-MHSP, LADAC II, CST, CFRC is a licensed professional therapist, addictions counselor, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and Certified First Responder Counselor. With 17 years of experience in the field, Kristin owns and operates her private practice, Franklin Teletherapy & Coaching, where she supports adults, older teens/young adults, families, and first responders in building resilience, strengthening connection, and navigating life’s most complex challenges. Kristin specializes in trauma, sex-related concerns, and anxiety, integrating EMDR, mindfulness-based strategies, and other evidence based approaches to create meaningful, lasting change.
In addition to her clinical work, Kristin is passionate about reducing stigma in mental health and equipping fellow professionals with research based, practical tools. She brings a dynamic and engaging style to her workshops, transforming professional development into collaborative and memorable conversations rather than lectures.
Outside of her professional roles, Kristin enjoys cheering on her kids at sporting events and perfecting her latest sourdough bake, finding joy in both family life and creative pursuits.
